Securing critical minerals used in infrastructure to power today’s energy technologies and electricity networks is a current national security priority for the United States. Lawmakers are proposing legislation and companies are using AI to increase domestic production of critical minerals, remain competitive with China and support industries that rely on these minerals, from energy and semiconductors to technology and defense.

Join Axios for a reception in Washington, D.C. convening policy leaders for conversations looking at why securing domestic critical mineral supply chains has become a key priority for U.S. national security and economic competitiveness. We’ll also consider how projected shortfalls could impact various industries and look at the upcoming regulatory landscape for mining legislation.
